My sparkle is gone some days I fear

I blame 2020 – it’s been quite a year.

I had all these plans for when time is my own,

but I’ve had to give up – and to that I’m not prone.

Will my sparkle come back when this pandemic ends?

Will I make new habits and find new friends?

So far, I’m just stuck and my wheels are spinning

as I’m looking to start my new beginning!
